Stick to the agenda
Dialogue and discussions are great, but keep the meeting on track. Park discussions for follow up, and stick to the agenda!
Include the agenda/objectives
Include the agenda/objectives of the meeting in the meeting invite so attendees come prepared.
Share information ahead of time
If there are documents that need to be read, send them ahead of time so you can focus the meeting on discussion.
Icebreakers!
Make sure everyone knows each other, and “connect” people by having them share fun facts about themselves, or share fun facts about the members you know.
Take notes
Take notes of the discussion, things agreed on, action items, etc. and send them out after the meeting. Revisit those same items to track progress.
